Self-care isn’t selfish
We’ve been navigating a tumultuous climate for quite a while. We turn on the morning news or open social media and it can feel overwhelming with everything going on in the world. A lot of it is out of our control, so it can make it feel even more daunting.
Then mix in personal life – kids going back to school, schedule changes, or commuting to an office for the first time in while – it can feel like a lot.
It’s okay to not be okay all the time, but it is important to take care of yourself and manage anxiety and stress in a healthy way.
With a new season approaching, it’s a great time to have a little reset. September is National Self-Care Awareness Month and a great reminder that we all need to take care of ourselves.

Go for a walk
